Online Backup Leader, VaultLogix Acquires U.S. Data Trust

Today’s announcement extends VaultLogix’s solutions for online backup by adding U.S. Data Trust’s service to the VaultLogix portfolio of online backup solutions it can offer its customers.
With the addition of U.S. Data Trust’s clients, VaultLogix now services over 3700 business clients worldwide, including over 300 channel partners. VaultLogix offers complete offsite backup solutions, either through its own proprietary solution, Internet Vault Advantage, or through existing relationships with third-party online backup software providers. By supplementing its own offering with those of other software providers, VaultLogix is able to ensure the best online backup solution for any business, regardless of their internal configurations and heterogeneous platform needs.

The acquisition of U.S. Data Trust closed in 2009 and VaultLogix expects the acquisition to be accretive to its revenue results as well as generating significant cost savings on a go-forward basis. Financial details of the acquisition are not being released.
