




On April 18th, the company announced the immediate availability of the Dropbox service in Spanish, German, French and Japanese. In addition to viewing the http://www.dropbox.com/ website in their native language, the Dropbox desktop software (Windows, Mac and Linux), mobile apps (iPhone and Android) and sharing notifications will also display in the user's preferred language.
Moves like that have made the company a viral/word of mouth sensation. That's no overstatement either, the company spends no money on advertising. Giving away a free, additional 250 MB for each successful referral seems to be working wonders, but needless to say so is the product.
